Our Mission
The mission of the NC State University Juntos program is to help students and their families gain knowledge, skills, and resources to ensure high school graduation and broaden post-secondary academic and career opportunities. Juntos is a bilingual program focused on increasing high school graduation rates, increasing a sense of belonging in education for first-generation students, and providing career exploration experiences. The Juntos program fosters family involvement, enhances academic achievement, and supports the development of essential skills by providing enrichment opportunities for both adults and youth alongside experiential learning experiences.
The Juntos program is available to all families seeking enrollment. Although the program has historically concentrated on evaluating its impact within the community served, recent efforts have expanded to assess its impact on Native American communities in states where the program is implemented.
