Tracy Ann Taylor

Tracy Taylor is currently the Dean of Counseling and Student Services at Vernon Malone College and Career Academy (VMCCA). She has been in education for over 25 years first as a Spanish and ESL teacher and then as a school counselor for the past 21 years.  Tracy found her passion working with Latino students as the ESL Counselor at Garner Magnet High School.  During her 14 years there, she worked closely with Spanish-speaking students and their families.  It was during that time she was first introduced to Juntos.  Due to its large Hispanic first-generation population, Tracy advocated bringing the Juntos program to VMCCA.  Juntos is now in its 3rd year at VMCCA where Tracy serves as its coordinator.

Tracy Taylor es actualmente Directora de Consejería y Servicios Estudiantiles en Vernon Malone College and Career Academy (VMCCA). Ella ha estado en el ámbito educativo por más de 25 años primero como maestra de Español e Inglés como Segundo Lenguaje (ESL) y después como consejera escolar por los últimos 21 años. Tracy encontró su pasión trabajando con estudiantes Latinos como consejera de ESL en Garner Magnet High School. Durante sus 14 años allí, ella trabajó cercanamente con estudiantes de habla hispana y sus familias. Fue durante este momento que se le introdujo a Juntos por primera vez. Debido a su gran población de primera generación hispana, Tracy abogó por traer el programa de Juntos a VMCCA. Ahora Juntos está en su tercer año en VMCCA donde Tracy es coordinadora.
