The Juntos Program is an intensive long-term program made up of four components:

This past Saturday Juntos participated at the first Plant Science Outreach day! Seventy-four students across 9 counties learned about different careers in Agricultural Science. We're greateful ro have collaborated with TRIO and CAC on this wonderful event. We wish to continue sparking the next generations curiosity and potential.
Meet the Juntos Team! Ashley Banegas Benitez is a Business Administration Major here at NCSU 🐺! Ashely is a second year student but her first time working with the Juntos program! Ashley is passionate about improving the latinx community for a better future. A fun fact about Ashley is that she had traveled to 13 countries!!
This week our Career Spotlight is Fashion and Textiles Management. A textile management major specializes in researching fundamental business ideas and applying them to the apparel and textile sectors. You will gain knowledge in branding, retail management, entrepreneurship, merchandising, and marketing, as well as fashion trends and customer behavior. Above you will find some applications, the average salary range, and degree requirements for fashion and textiles management.
Meet the Juntos Team! Jordan Lee is a first year majoring in Biochemistry here at NCSU🐺!This is Jordan's first year working with the Juntos Program. Outside of Juntos she is an active member around campus, especially Black Student Board one! A fun fact about Jordan is that she has loved Justin Bieber since 2010.
Meet the Juntos Team! Luis Mejia Rios is a a third year majoring in Business Administration: Information Technology here at NCSU 🐺! This is Luis's third year work for the Juntos Program! Luis hopes that through Juntos, he will be able to provide support, guidance, engagement, and everything in between to Latinx students. In his free time is likes playing soccer, basketball, and spikeball!
Juntos is going to Oregon! This March Juntos will be sending 5 Students to Oregon State University! Students will have the opportunity to network with other Juntos members from around the US. This week our Career Spotlight is Physican Assistants. Physican Assistants diagnose, examine, and treat patients in a variety of fields. The demand for Physician Assistants are growing and are integral to our healthcare system. Meet the Juntos Team! Lucía Planchón is our newest member and new Assistant director for the Juntos Program! Her journey with Juntos began four years after graduating from NC State , and she is so excited to be back, especially knowing that she will continue to work with the Hispanic population while helping parents and students navigate through the complexities of higher education readiness.

Jessica joined the Juntos team in 2016 as a student volunteer and became the coordinator in 2018 to the Juntos program in Pender County, North Carolina. Jessica is pursuing a master’s degree in Public Administration here at NCSU 🐺. Planning to continue her involvement with the Hispanic/Latinx and immigrant community.
