Amanda Felix-Mendoza

Bio

Amanda Felix-Mendoza was born in Raleigh NC and is currently a junior at NC State University majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in information technology. In her free time, she enjoys shopping and spending time with her friends and family. Amanda is very passionate about the Latino community because growing up she wanted to see more resources to help those in her community, especially Latino students. Having navigated the challenges and triumphs of her educational journey, she understands the significance of breaking barriers and dreams of empowering the next generation. She has been a part of various educational clubs during her high school career, where she helped other students grow and achieve academic success. Being a member of Juntos allows her to have the same impact in college, where she is able to be a part of a community that actively makes a difference in Latino youth.

Amanda Felix-Mendoza nació en Raleigh, Carolina del Norte y actualmente cursa tercer año en la Universidad Estatal de Carolina del Norte sacando su licenciatura en Administración de Empresas con una concentración en Tecnología de Información. En su tiempo libre, ella disfruta salir de compras y pasar tiempo con sus amigos y familia. Amanda le apasiona mucho la comunidad Latina porque mientras crecía ella quería ver más recursos ayudando a su comunidad, especialmente estudiantes Latinos. Habiendo navegado por los desafíos y triunfos de su propio camino educativo, ella comprende la importancia de romper barreras y sueña con empoderar a las próximas generaciones. Ella ha sido parte de una variedad de clubes educativos en su carrera estudiantil en la preparatoria donde ella ayudó a otros estudiantes a crecer y alcanzar éxito académico. Ser miembro de Juntos le permite hacer el mismo impacto en la universidad, donde ella puede ser parte de una comunidad que activamente hace una diferencia en los jóvenes Latinos.
