Azucena DeLa Sancha-Garcia

Bio

Azucena DeLa Sancha-Garcia was born in Winston-Salem. She is currently a third-year undergraduate student majoring in Design Studies. Her favorite pastimes are playing strategic games, soccer, and drawing. Azucena joined Juntos as a way to keep connected with her roots in the Latino Community, especially since there are few Hispanics at NC State. She had two older siblings who were a part of Juntos and received a lot of help from them. Being a member of Juntos allows her to give back to the community by giving guidance, informing, and helping students discover ways to further their education if they would like to. 

Azucena DeLa Sancha-Garcia nació en Winston-Salem. Ella actualmente es una estudiante universitaria de tercer año sacando su licenciatura en Estudio de Diseño. Su pasatiempo favorito es jugar juegos estratégicos, fútbol, y dibujar. Azucena se unió a Juntos como una forma de mantenerse conectada con sus raíces en la comunidad Latina, especialmente ya que hay pocos Hispanos en la Universidad Estatal de Carolina del Norte. Ella tiene dos hermanos mayores que fueron parte de Juntos y recibieron mucha ayuda de parte de ellos. Ser miembro de Juntos le permite contribuir a la comunidad brindando orientación, información y ayudando a los estudiantes a descubrir formas de continuar su educación si así lo desean.
