Holly Ellwanger

Bio

Holly serves as the Juntos Program Coordinator at Arndt Middle School, Challenger Early College High School, and St Stephens High School. Holly brings a variety of professional experiences to this role. She is married and is the mom to three sons.  Holly graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a master’s degree in Public Administration from UNC-Charlotte. As an educator,  Holly believes strongly in the power of educational opportunities for all students.  Her grandparents were textile factory workers with elementary school education.  Her father was a first-generation college graduate and ended up owning his own business.  “I have seen firsthand the doors of opportunity that can be opened with an education.  I am passionate about empowering students and families to more than merely survive, but to thrive in reaching their educational goals.” 

Holly es Coordinadora del Programa Juntos en Arndt Middle School, Challenger Early College High School, y en St. Stephens High School. Holly aporta una variedad de experiencias profesionales en este rol. Ella está casada y es madre de tres hijos. Holly se graduó de la Universidad Estatal de Carolina del Norte con una licenciatura en Ciencias Políticas y una maestría en Administración Pública de la Universidad de Carolina del Norte en Charlotte. Como educadora, Holly cree firmemente en el poder de las oportunidades educativas para todos los estudiantes. Sus abuelos eran trabajadores de fábricas textiles con educación primaria. Su padre fue el primer graduado universitario de su familia y terminó siendo dueño de su propio negocio. “He visto de primera mano las puertas de oportunidad que pueden abrirse con una educación. Me apasiona empoderar a estudiantes y familias para que no solo sobrevivan, sino que prosperen en alcanzar sus metas educativas”.
