Irvin De La Cruz-Cardenas

Bio

Irvin was born and raised in Conover, North Carolina. He grew up with his two brothers and parents, who are immigrants from Mexico. At a young age, Irvin aspired to go to college, and, with help from different resources like Juntos, he is now a freshman majoring in Civil Engineering. Irvin is grateful for Juntos and the many educators who helped him get to his current position. He is passionate about helping the Latino community and is excited to continue working with Juntos. Outside of the classroom, Irvin is a member of NC State’s Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. In his free time, he likes to work out at the gym, listen to music, and spend time with friends. 

Irvin nació y creció en Conover, Carolina del Norte. Creció con sus dos hermanos y sus padres, que son inmigrantes de México. A una edad temprana, Irvin aspiraba a ir a la universidad y, con la ayuda de diferentes recursos como Juntos, ahora es un estudiante de primer año con especialización en Ingeniería Civil. Irvin está agradecido con Juntos y con los muchos educadores que lo ayudaron a llegar a su puesto actual. Le apasiona ayudar a la comunidad latina y está emocionado de continuar trabajando con Juntos. Fuera del salón de clases, Irvin es miembro de la Sociedad de Ingenieros Profesionales Hispanos de NC State. En su tiempo libre, le gusta hacer ejercicio en el gimnasio, escuchar música y pasar tiempo con amigos.
